The 2010 Complete Courses of Tungˇ¦s Acupuncture End Successfully
The 2010 Complete Courses of Tungˇ¦s Acupuncture
was held from June 11 to 14 in Los Angeles. Almost all the participants of this
seminar were from the U.S and Canada
(not from all over the
world like those in the previous seminars.) That is
because there are another two seminars on Tungˇ¦s acupuncture scheduled in this
year: one had been held in Shang Dong Province, China in May, and the
other will be in Europe in September. Like all the previous seminars, this
course was quickly filled up and the registration had to be closed a month
earlier before the seminar date.
Other than a few participants that had never learned Tungˇ¦ acupuncture before,
most of them had either learned Tungˇ¦s acupuncture by themselves or from someone
else. The latter had been applying Tungˇ¦s acupuncture to their practice for
several years and expected to learn advanced knowledge from this seminar. Dr.
Young hence focused more on the overall and general theories of the Tungˇ¦s
acupuncture. Those new or beginner learners also embraced the knowledge without
much difficulties. Those overall and general theories enhanced the
understanding of the individual theories of the points. The participants were
then able to grasp the profound implications of every point. Certainly, Dr.
Young also demonstrated how to locate the frequently-used points, and the
bleeding technique. The methods to quickly and accurately locate points and
the effective ways to manipulate the needles were hard-to-comprehend knowledge
from books. Seeing these demonstrations in person made a huge difference. From
the feedback survey, we found that the participants of this seminar gave us
highest appreciation over those years. This seminar was a very successful one.
After the seminar, the participants eagerly signed up for the Advanced Seminar
of Tungˇ¦s Acupuncture scheduled in this autumn.
